Appointment Time – The time shown when booking your appointment includes all services selected, plus necessary processing or dryer time. This is an estimated total duration.
Deep Treatment – A conditioning mask or intense treatment that typically works over 30 minutes, often with heat. Ideal for newly damaged hair to prevent further breakage and prepare the hair for future maintenance with Express Treatments.
Designer Cut – A full haircut where the hair is styled into a new shape or returned to a previous cut that has grown out. Includes big chops for natural clients.
Double Process Color – Hair is processed twice—typically with a lightener first, then color is applied to achieve the final result.
Express Treatment – A quick yet effective mask or treatment designed to work within 10–15 minutes without heat. Perfect for maintaining healthy hair between deeper treatments.
Individual Twists – Hair is sectioned and twisted individually. Meant to be worn for about 2 weeks, though many clients take the twists down for an additional week of defined waves. This is a two-in-one style and is charged per hour.
Loc Maintenance – Interlock/Retie – New growth is maintained using an interlocking tool, ideal for small or micro locs. This service is charged by the hour.
Loc Maintenance – Palm Rolled – New growth is groomed using a palm-rolling technique. This method helps maintain the shape and integrity of traditional locs. Charged by the hour.
Reshape – A light trim of less than 1 inch that maintains your current haircut shape or style. Relaxer Retouch – Relaxer is applied only to the new growth to maintain straightness. Recommended every 6 to 8 weeks.
Rod Set – Hair is set on hard perm rods or flexible rods to achieve defined curls or waves.
Semi/Demi Permanent Color – A gentle, no-lift color that deposits pigment and gradually fades over time. Often used to blend or cover gray. Coverage can be soft and dimensional or fully opaque depending on the formula. Can be safely combined with relaxer services.
Shampoo, Blow, & Braid Down (SB&B) – Hair is shampooed, conditioned, blow-dried, and braided into medium to large cornrows. Perfect for wearing under wigs, crochet styles, or other protective installs.
Shampoo, Blow, & Go (SB&G) – Hair is shampooed, conditioned, and blow-dried only. No styling included. Great for clients preparing for braids or needing clean hair for other services.
Shampoo, Mold, & Go (SM&G) – Hair is shampooed, conditioned, and molded (typically for pixie cuts). No styling is done after drying—ideal for clients who style their own hair at home.
Shampoo/Conditioner – A cleansing and nourishing treatment included with every service to ensure a healthy foundation for styling.
Silk Press / Thermal Press – Hair is straightened without chemicals using a blow-dryer and flat iron technique that leaves it smooth, shiny, and flowing.
Single Process Color – One color is applied all over the hair and processed to achieve the desired tone. Includes shampoo, conditioning treatment, and finished style.
Starter Locs – Coils – Locs are started with the comb coil method. Service is charged by the hour.
Starter Locs – Twists – Locs are started using the two-strand twist method and include your first interlocking/retie. If you prefer no interlocking, book under Individual Twists. Charged by the hour.
Toner – A semi or demi-permanent color applied after lightening to correct or enhance tone. Used to reduce brassiness or add richness.
Twist-Out – Hair is twisted in a pattern similar to cornrows. Once dry, it can be untwisted for a defined wavy look or left in for a protective style. Great for getting two looks in one.
Virgin Relaxer – Relaxer applied to hair with no previous chemical straightening or more than 4 inches of new growth.
